Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the Halay Başı mobile game and website collect and why, where and how long it is kept, and your rights over it. The game and site are developed and published by Nusret Saraç ("we"). For questions or requests: support@halaybas.com.
In short: we do not collect your real name, your email (in the game), your location, contacts or photos. We do not track you across apps or websites, we do not use the advertising identifier, and we do not sell your information. The little we collect is used to run online play and to improve the game.

1. Information collected in the game
Online profile
So that you can use the online features (friends, wedding rooms, live weddings), our server keeps a game profile: the player name you choose, your halay leader, your friend code (e.g. HALAY-AB12), your friends list and friend requests, and the wedding rooms you join. Other players can see and search for your player name, so we recommend not using your real full name.
Device identification
On first launch the game creates a random device ID. It also sends the identifier Apple gives each developer (identifierForVendor), so that we can recognise your account and name if you delete and reinstall the game. This identifier is not shared with other developers' apps. We do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA) and we do not track you.
In-game usage data
To improve the game we record some in-game events: starting and finishing stages (time, halay length, target, rank, number of attempts), game gold earned and spent, in-game items bought and used, bonus game results, and whether the in-game films were watched or skipped. Together with these we send the game language, platform (iOS), device model and app version. This data is not linked to your name, not used for advertising and not sold.
Stored only on your device
Your game progress, stars, game gold, items and settings (language, sound) are stored on your phone.
What we do not collect
We do not collect your real name, an email address in the game, your phone number, location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera access, or payment details.
2. Website
Pre-registration: if you enter your email in the "Let me know at launch" form and tick the consent box, we store your address, the platform you chose and the time of sign-up. We use your address only to tell you when the game launches, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Browser preferences: your language and music choice are stored only in your own browser. The site has no advertising, tracking or analytics cookies.
Technical logs: the provider hosting the site and server may briefly keep technical logs such as IP addresses for security and to keep the service running.
3. Purchases
Any purchases with real money in the game are made through the Apple App Store. Apple processes your payment details; we never see them.
4. Advertising
This version of the game has no ads. If ads are added in the future, Google AdMob will be used. We will then update this policy, ask for the required permissions in the game, and give you the option to refuse personalised ads.
5. Where information is stored and who it is shared with
Our game server runs on Render (Render Services, Inc.) in its Frankfurt data centre (Germany, European Union). We do not sell your information or share it with anyone for advertising. It may be shared only with the infrastructure provider we use to run the service, and with authorities where the law requires it.
6. Children
Halay Başı is suitable for players of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we recommend not using a real name as the player name. If you believe a child has shared real personal information, write to us and we will delete it.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR (for players in Europe), Turkey's KVKK and similar laws, you have the right to know what we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct or delete it, to object to its processing, and to complain to a data protection authority. To do so, write to support@halaybas.com. Include the friend code (HALAY-…) from Profile > Friends in the game so we can find you on the server. We reply within 30 days at the latest.
8. Changes
When we change this policy we update the date on this page. We also announce important changes in the game.
